Carson Good, Chairman

Carson Good has spent over 30 years managing, capitalizing, developing, and transacting more than $12 billion in mixed-use infrastructure projects and income-producing properties. He has held senior executive roles at publicly traded companies including Trammell Crow Company and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and is a founding director of Alpine Income Property Trust (NYSE: “PINE”).

Mr. Good currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. During his transformational four-year tenure as chairman, he led the organization to recruit a new senior executive team, attract 15 new airlines and 47 new direct routes, complete its $3 billion state-of-the-art terminal, open a high-speed rail station to Miami, increase revenue to nearly $1 billion annually, grow passenger traffic by twenty percent, and implement an innovative 10-year strategic plan — all while maintaining disciplined fiscal management, including an S&P upgrade to an AA rating. MCO has become the second busiest airport in America and continues to grow responsibly and exponentially. Mr. Good currently chairs the Authority’s Executive Airport Commission and the Commercial Properties Committee, where he works to build strategic alignments between the two Orlando airports and the Space Coast.

His commitment to the community is reflected through numerous hours of service, including roles on the boards of The State University System of Florida (Board of Governors), Metro-Plan Orlando, the University of Florida’s Master’s in Real Estate School, Orange County Parks and Recreation, and as Chairman of the Orange County Planning and Zoning Commission.

He received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and an M.B.A. from Rollins College. He is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives (CM), the Urban Land Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

John Good, Managing Director

John Good is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations at Good Capital Group. He leads the company’s investment research, due diligence, financial modeling, and the origination, structuring, and management of real estate investments. Before joining Good Capital, he served as a Portfolio Manager at Independent Financial in Denver, a super-regional bank specializing in commercial real estate construction financing. During his tenure at the bank, Mr. Good underwrote and managed over $100 million in loan proceeds annually. Prior to his role at Independent Financial, he worked for Florida Capital Markets Group and was also part of JLL's renowned Real Estate Investment Banking & Special Assets Team in New York, where he was involved in over $3 billion in transactions.

In addition to his professional work, Mr. Good is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist. He is the founder and former President of Central Florida Quail Forever, a non-profit organization focused on habitat conservation and youth mentorship. Currently, he serves as the organization’s Government Affairs Director and Youth Development Chair.

In 2023, Governor DeSantis appointed Mr. Good to the Seminole State College District Board of Trustees, where he currently holds the position of Vice Chair. Mr. Good graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Economics and minors in Philosophy and History.
